This was drawn from an out of focus photo I took whilst wondering through part of the Tarkine forest some years ago. I have been fascinated by the world of fungi for years and have a large collection of photos that I am slowly collecting into one folder. I have always drawn and fell in love the ink as at teenager when I saw some etching in an exhibition. I had wanted to try push my drawing to another level just for myself and began with looking at my collection of photos. So why use an out of f

Upon my recent return to Hobart, I was taken by the impact small elements have on a larger outcome. My work is not a conscious representation of this, but an exercise in subconscious expression channeling something unknown into realisation.

Original unframed 65 x 91 cm Alcohol ink on yupo paper sealed with high grade varnish and UV spray. My artwork is heavily inspired by both nature and the mindgarden. Planting the seeds of joy and happiness today for our tomorrows.?Just like the lifespan of cherry blossoms, our days pass in a blink of an eye. According to Japanese folklore, cherry blossoms should remind us to cherish the best parts of our lives and not forget to appreciate the beauty in everything.?- Flower Glossary

Kunyanyi and the Derwent bridge are two landmarks of Hobart, both inspirational. I started it painting in a Van Gogh style but it sort of evolved. It is quite a large painting and was fun to do.

Good morning, thankyou, what an honour to even be considered. This is an acrylic on canvas which I painted specifically as a donation to the Paynter family of Hobart. Hamish, then 15, when the accident happened last year, was left a paraplegic, with minimal hand movements after an outing to the beach with his school went horribly wrong. His father's workplace, Calvary Hospital went straight into help mode to aid this family with the enormous medical and building costs to alter the family home

Title or Location: Grangemouth oil refinery
It was a day out at Culross a very picturesque historic town in Fife. Because of the olde ye appearance it has featured in the TV series Outlander and the film of the book Kidnapped written by Robert Louis Stevenson?s. The whole place is photogenic. I had a thought about all the artists and photographers that have graced the its streets and it must be in thousands. I wonder how many have ever produced a rendering of the oil refinery on the other bank of the Forth.

Clouds fascinate me, constantly changing shape and color. This painting is of the front pasture with a dash of artistic license. The willow tree towers in the middle of a wet weather creek and begged to be painted.(There is no box for my website, so I hesitated to input it, but would appreciate a mention if allowed....FeliciaLWhite.com. Thanks.)

I love painting little creatures. I have been a working artist all of my life but never had the chance to perfect my skills in artistry. Now that I am retired, I find myself painting something every day with acrylics, watercolors, and or inks. I started painting on terracotta pots, then started making my hand-crafted paper to paint on, and then to tea bags and now painting little ornaments. My friends say that I paint on anything but canvas. This is true!

When I started this painting , I was talking to a friend of mine who said that my paintings were a mixture of real and surreal. I grew up an avid reader, and read every book they had on fantasy and Greek Gods and Goddesses.. I feel imagination keeps us young, and I?m still looking for the leprechauns in my forest&128513
