Title or Location: Kunyanyi sunset
Kunyanyi and the Derwent bridge are two landmarks of Hobart, both inspirational. I started it painting in a Van Gogh style but it sort of evolved. It is quite a large painting and was fun to do.

Good morning, thankyou, what an honour to even be considered. This is an acrylic on canvas which I painted specifically as a donation to the Paynter family of Hobart. Hamish, then 15, when the accident happened last year, was left a paraplegic, with minimal hand movements after an outing to the beach with his school went horribly wrong. His father's workplace, Calvary Hospital went straight into help mode to aid this family with the enormous medical and building costs to alter the family home

Title or Location: Fairy Lady
It was supposed to be a study after an interesting pose I found on an Instagram page 'Pose Reference' by Justin R. Martin, artist and author of the Poses for Artists book series. But it turned out to this fairy lady. I've sketched the figure from the reference using a ballpoint pen, then I started playing and adding my details. I wasn't have a plan in my mind about the result, it just happened by letting my hand lead me by following the lines and adding new ones. I call this type of drawing medi

Title or Location: Sightseeing acrylic on canvas 500x600mm
This paint is inspired by my travels through Europe and my current location of Blackmans Bay. It draws on elements of architecture, beaches, rock formations and familiar yet unplaceable aspects of towns. This painting is 1 in a series named Traces'. The viewer is invited to take a journey around the canvas and perhaps reminisce about places visited.

Title or Location: Mystic
"Mystic "is an intuitive work in acrylic on canvas and measures 61cm sqr. It begins life as a few marks on a blank canvas and from then on each mark suggests the next one. This is how all my paintings evolve. I am obsessed with colour and composition which seems to come naturally to me. I know when a work is finished because it seems to let me know " there is nothing more to do here, it is time to move on" I listen to my work now, instead of my inner critic and it is wonderful to know I have cre

Title or Location: Chrystal's Puppies!
I work with a doctor that has dachshunds and she commisioned me to paint her pups! Done in acylics 15 in x 30 in on canvas. It was fun painting this and I put a lake tahoe background as the pups were actually in a pen and the owner has a cabin in Tahoe and wanted a sun setting sky.

Title or Location: ?Red Love?
This piece depicts a woman with an exaggerated highlight, giving off the impression that she is basking in the sun. It is ultimately a tribute to the powerful black women I grew up around, creating and being part of the inspiration for why I create. It is a mixed media portrait, utilizing mostly colored pencils and pens.

Title or Location: Wildlife Christmas baubles
Hi, I am Carolyn of C.Walsh.art located in Southampton. I have always loved art and decided to started painting again around four years ago after a long break. I mainly paint on wood inspired by the beauty of nature using acrylic paint but during the festive season I love painting on these ceramic baubles bringing gorgeous wildlife to your tree. I love to use reclaimed materials where possible and try to be environmentally friendly.

Title or Location: A Place to Breathe
I wanted to create a place of tranquility and quiet. A retreat into nature where you can take a moment to breathe. There is a hush over the valley. The storm is over and the water quietly continues on its way much as it has always done. It is here I invite you to stay for a moment or two and rest.
